The Centre Director holds overall responsibility for the strategic, commercial, and operational success of the Innovation Centre. This role leads the development of a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, fosters strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensures the centre delivers exceptional value to customers, partners, and the wider community. Working closely with senior leadership and supported by a multidisciplinary team, the Centre Director aligns centre outcomes with OI Space’s strategic goals and the broader economic development agenda. Responsibilities

  • Lead the local team to deliver the centre’s strategic ambitions and build its profile.
  • Develop strong relationships with our client, stakeholders, and the wider innovation ecosystem.
  • Drive commercial performance through lead generation, marketing, and space sales.
  • Champion business support and community development, creating a thriving entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ensure operational excellence across all aspects of the centre, from compliance to customer experience.

  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing customer-focused environments.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in managing budgets, contracts, and operational processes.
