THE EMPLOYER IS: CAUSEWAY COFFEE Causeway Coffee is an award winning Speciality Coffee roaster importing and roasting the very best ethically sourced coffee beans from around the world. We have eleven signature coffees which we sell as coffee beans or as ground coffee together with accessories to help our customers brew better coffee at home. We’re a small team with big plans. This new role as a Social Media & Podcast Assistant Editor will involve working with the sales director to create and manage engaging video content for platforms like YouTube and TikTok as well as recording podcasts (Video & Audio) for a new channel. Training will be provided although the ideal candidate will have a passion for podcasts and social media and a desire for creative freedom. You'll be personable with the ability to think on your feet. We'd like you to love coffee, have fun, and enjoy working for this exciting business. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit and upload podcast series - audio & video.
  • Create content for Social Media Platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube & Facebook.
  • Work with the team to create strategies to increase followers and viewer engagement.
  • Engage with our wholesale customers to compliment their marketing strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to translate this into new ideas to help drive growth in viewers and listeners to the podcast channel.

Desirable Skills

  • Ideally you will have a good attention to detail, be well organised and have the ability to use your own initiative to address challenges and seek assistance when appropriate.
