We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Trade counter/Store person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the best experience possible. This position involves balancing sales with operational responsibilities of warehouse management including inventory control, stock movement and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide follow up sales and service.
• Promote products, introduce promotions, and upsell other products.
• Process sales transactions.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders.
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently.
• Receive and inspect incoming stock materials.
• Perform materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting when required using manual and mechanical equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the store environment
• Complete paperwork and data entry accurately.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely.
• Clean driving licence

Desirable Skills

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous.
• Strong electrical knowledge and experience will be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
