Marketing Assistant


Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: PORTADOWN 2000 MILLENNIUM COURT We're looking for a motivated individual to join us and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. You will play a key role in supporting our marketing efforts to increase footfall and engage with our team with administrative tasks and customer outreach by contributing ideas for campaigns and conducting face-to-face market campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Creative Director in executing marketing strategies, conducting research, and managing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and increase footfall.
  • Event Coordination: Help organise and facilitate marketing events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to understand target audiences and market trends, providing insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties such as maintaining client databases, answering inquiries, and managing records.
  • Managing social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages.
  • Communicating with clients, customers and external agencies.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO).
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.

Desirable Skills

  • GCSEs, including maths and English, or equivalent qualifications. A-levels and a degree a Higher National Diploma (HND) in marketing, a certificate or diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of analytics software.
  • Industry knowledge.

Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
