Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: ACADEMIC FISH. This person will help support the growth of Academic Fish by researching and targeting potential markets, developing promotional campaigns, and helping to manage digital outreach to increase sales, visibility and user engagement. The postholder will analyse performance data, track SEO and web analytics, and help to identify new opportunities to attract schools, parents, and education partners. This position would be ideal for someone passionate about education technology and inclusive access to education support. Disability Confident employers - Remote working position.
Responsibilities
- Research and target current and prospective markets in education and EdTech.
- Help identify new partnership and growth opportunities.
- Help develop promotional materials that align with Academic Fish’s brand and goals.
- Assist the graphic designer to ensure professional and accessible presentation of information.
- Assist with social media content scheduling across key platforms.
- Promote Academic Fish to schools, parents, and learning networks.
- Complete and monitor analytics and SEO to improve visibility and performance.
- Help design and support marketing campaigns to increase user growth and engagement.
- Gather feedback from users to refine marketing messages and outreach strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Background or experience in social media.
- Working knowledge of Canva and photoshop (or other appropriate software) for making graphics, video editing skills etc.
- Ability to work with a team to collaborate and communicate ideas.
- Organisational and Time management skills - Understand the importance of set deadlines and plan/prepare accordingly.
- Willing to learn and share knowledge.
- Willing to build confidence in approaching schools, organisations, and education partners to create collaboration opportunities.
- English - fluent (both written and verbal) to follow instructions effectively.

JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
