Sales Advisor
Job description
You will assist the store manager with day to day procedures. You will be self-motivated and maintain a first class customer service and drive sales forward whilst dealing with customer on a daily basis. The position will include, but will not be limited to the following duties: Assisting customers with the selection of products and determining their needs accordingly. Meeting individual and store targets. Operating the tills, handling financial transactions including exchanges and following cashing up procedures.
Responsibilities
- Advising customers on suitable products that best meet their needs. Explain product features and benefits to customers.
- Receiving and booking in faulty devices. Cashing up and closing systems down. Process customer payments.
- Merchandising and replenishing stock as required, whilst maintaining high shop floor standards.
- Assisting with deliveries. Undertaking cleaning and housekeeping duties as and when required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) Grade C or above in English and Maths. Previous retail/customer service experience is essential.
- Passionate about mobile phones and customer service. Experience in the use of EPOS systems.
Desirable Skills
- Must be able to work as part of a team. High levels of accuracy and use of grammar.
