THE EMPLOYER IS: GETSOCIABLE We’re looking for a Junior Software Developer with a passion for frontend development and user experience. This is a hands-on role for someone keen to grow their skills in modern web technologies while contributing to real-world projects from day one. You’ll be part of a collaborative team building responsive, user-facing applications that look great and perform brilliantly. Responsibilities

  • Help develop and maintain user-facing web applications using modern frontend frameworks (JavaScript, Vue).
  • Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, reusable code.
  • Ensure technical feasibility of designs and optimise applications for speed and scalability.
  • Maintain responsive design standards across devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with back end developers to integrate APIs and data services.
  • Implement basic SEO, accessibility, and performance best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest front-end tools, frameworks, and trends.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (Vue, React, or similar).
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Ability to interpret UI/UX designs and wireframes.
  • Willingness to learn and apply SEO and accessibility principles.
  • Comfortable using Git and version control tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication and ability to work within a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with back-end i.e. PHP, Laravel.
  • Exposure to RESTful APIs and frontend-backend integration.
  • Understanding of performance optimisation techniques.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and processes.
  • Interest in design systems and scalable front-end architecture.
  • Previous experience in creative, hospitality, or start-up environments.
