We are recruiting home care assistants for evening rotas in the Coleraine area. Responsibilities

• Care in the community - personal care
• Light meal preparation
• Provide companionship
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Be able to demonstrate an organised/professional/caring approach
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Care about the community they live in

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in H & SC
• Previous paid caring experience

We work off a 4/3 rota pattern, as follows: - Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Morning rota is from 07:00 - 14:30, Afternoon rota is from 15:00 - 18:30 and Put to bed/evening rota is from 19:00 - 23:00
