Job description
To effectively take bookings and manage enquiries from service users, schedule trips through our electronic software system, liaise with Easilink drivers and carry out general administration duties within the office environment.
Responsibilities
- General reception and secretarial duties including dealing with telephone enquiries.
- Liaise with Drivers and Volunteers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Cash Handling and preparation of bank lodgements.
- Carry out any other duties that may be requested by the Team Leader.
- To take bookings, mainly over the telephone from service users, and schedule these bookings using our computerised scheduling software.
- Assist with the registration of new service users, updating our membership database and assist with the preparation of reports pertaining to this.
- General administration duties including maintain filing systems, photocopying, scanning and emailing.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSE’s (Grade A to C) or equivalent, to include English and Maths.
- 1 Years’ Experience of working in a customer facing role.
- Excellent IT Skills and Experience.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a busy office and / or administration role.
- Understanding of people impacted by social isolation and / or mobility issues.
- Geographical awareness of the Omagh area.
