Seaview House is a small, independent nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay. We are registered to 22 beds and care for those over 65 years, frail elderly, end of life care and respite. We are currently looking for a housekeeping assistant to join our small friendly team. We would love to hear from you! Sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all residents have their room maintained showing a high standard of maintenance, cleanliness, tidiness and homeliness.
• Ensure the home is free from clutter, inside and out, and meets with health and safety standards at all times.
• Assist the Hospitality manager in the management of the admission process, ensuring all bedrooms are ready and fit for occupancy in accordance with the Pre-admission assessment.
• Prioritise workload of housekeeping duties and laundry duties daily.
• Kitchen duties- setting up trays, cleaning dishes and tidying of dining room.
• Assist staff daily in ensuring all lounge areas, bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy, including making beds, removing rubbish, watering plants, drawing curtains, changing calendar dates, removing old papers/magazines etc as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Flexibility.
