Job description

We are recruiting for a Stores person. We are urgently seeking a reliable and organised Stores person to join the Catering Department at Antrim Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries of food, beverages, and catering supplies.
• Store items correctly in dry, chilled, and frozen areas, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
• Rotate stock and monitor inventory levels to minimise waste.
• Issue ingredients and supplies to catering and kitchen teams as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant storage environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience in a catering, stores, or warehouse environment is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Please note this post is physically demanding and requires manual handling and stock movement.
