THE EMPLOYER IS: MIN CO NO.4 LTD T/A THE FRYING SQUAD. We are seeking a Food Preparation Assistant to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards. You will assist with preparing ingredients, assembling menu items, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly, supporting the cooking team while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to daily requirements.
• Assist with assembling meals and packaging orders.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised prep area.
• Restock food, packaging, and condiments as needed.
• Follow food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
• Work closely with the cooking and counter teams to ensure smooth service.
• Dispose of waste safely and maintain kitchen cleanliness throughout shifts.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment (preferred but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
