Our client based in Ballymena is seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers to join their successful and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established business that provides essential milk collection and delivery services within the dairy industry. As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for collecting milk from local dairy farms along scheduled routes and delivering to end customers or processing facilities, while maintaining a high standard of service and product integrity.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Collect milk from dairy farms according to a set route plan.
• Deliver milk to processing facilities and/or customers.
• Complete all necessary paperwork with accuracy.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Be willing to undertake secondary haulage of milk to various locations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full, clean UK Class 1 c e driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early starts and weekends.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.

Further Information

This Class 1 HGV Driver position is based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, with routes and collection points in the surrounding area. Please note the weekly hours exceed the 48 plus hour Working Time Directive and the successful applicant may be required to sign an "opt-out" form.
