Carryduff Pre-school offers a high quality pre-school experience in a stimulating learning environment, we now have a vacancy for a Pre-School Deputy Leader to join our team. In conjunction with the Leader, he/she will plan, organise and implement a programme of activities to promote progression in learning for each child. This is term time employment, however additional hours are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide the children with a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment.
• Work in a highly motivated team in a keyworker system, and liaise with parents/carers and professionals.
• Carry out observations linking to the pre-school curriculum.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• QCF 5 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent) or currently undertaking a course of study that will lead to the above qualification.
• Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft office packages.

Desirable Skills

• Safeguarding training, Health & Safety training and First Aid training
