Job description

The post encompasses the Management and Leadership of the KS1 After School Club and Pre-school Wraparound care, based on the common core skills and knowledge in the areas of Safeguarding children & Child Development, Effective Communication, and Developing the Service. Willingness and experience of leading, and working alongside others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop an effective approach to the overall project administration.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure all policies, procedures and relevant regulations and guidance are implemented.
• Planning a programme of fun activities, in conjunction with the children, which provides valuable play experiences.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Qualified in Level 5 QCF or equivalent in Children’s Care, or currently undertaking 2 years direct work with children and a good standard of general education.
• Experience of supervising staff.

Desirable Skills

• Special Needs Training Risk Assessment (Health & Safety)
