Job description

EA/DfC Youth Engagement Programme. To work directly with young people to develop their social education by providing programmes and activities. Provide strategic leadership and operational guidance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritise and deliver youth work programmes based on need within the local area.
• Be responsible for administration relating to the project - effective record keeping and ensuring that the administrative requirements of the EA are met.
• Carry out such duties, as may be assigned by the Line Manager, within the level of the post.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Applicants must have either a Northern Ireland Youth Service Youth Support Worker Qualification, OCN Level 3 Introduction to Youth Work and Programme Development or an equivalent Youth Work Qualification.

Desirable Skills

• A minimum of one years experience of working in a Youth Work setting.
