Study Supervisor
Job description
To manage all aspects of the Study Centre in order to achieve sound learning. To give administrative assistance as required. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the study centre, maintaining a quiet atmosphere conducive to learning. Administer and assist in the training and implementation of Cued Spelling Programme.
- Carry out other administrative tasks relating to attendance and punctuality of students. Be aware of students’ whereabouts at all times.
- Supervise students in activities outside the study area (for instance, accompanying students on visits etc). Assist the office and administration staff as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have a good standard of education - minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics.
- Previous experience in remunerated employment of supervising students in a formal educational setting. Experience in the use of ICT.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good organisational skills. Good negotiation skills. Good ICT skills
- Flexibility.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Sims.net.
Further Information
