Workshop Operatives - Magherafelt - Permanent. Fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning specialist joinery firm in Magherafelt as a Workshop Operative, with full training, permanent roles, and immediate starts available. About the role: Monday - Friday. Immediate start. 7:00 am - 4:00pm or 4:00pm - 1:00am (overtime rates apply). Award winning specialist joinery firm. Full training provided. Permanent.

Responsibilities

• Fitting ironmongery (handles, locks, hinges etc) onto completed windows & doors.
• Installing gaskets & weather seals onto completed windows & doors.
• Fitting casements & sliding sashes onto window frames.
• Checking of glass prior to glazing.
• Arranging re-make glass units if defects reported.
• Wrapping of finished products.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved.
• Be able to work to high standards of workmanship, finish and quality.
• Confident in Sanding, Pinning, Painting and Gluing and Screwing panels together.
