Job description

We are seeking a CNC Operator on behalf of our client - one of the UK and Ireland’s longest established Manufacturers and Suppliers of Pressure Gauge, Temperature Gauge, Thermometer, Flow Switches and associated Instruments.

Responsibilities

• Working in a machine shop with a range of equipment, including: manual lathes, pedestal drills, CNC lathes, machining centres.
• Support the main factory floor by producing turned and pressed components.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing machine shop.
• A minimum of grade C in GCSE Mathematics and English (or equivalent).
• Be competent in CNC Lathe Programming, Setting and Operating.
• Experience in using manual Lathes and CNC machining centres.
• Must also be competent in Fanuc control systems.
