Job description

The Head of Asset Projects is responsible for a budget of £15m - £20m per annum associated with investment of our housing stock to include eg component \ asset replacement, major scheme refurbishments, adaptations and stock condition surveying and data. It is a key role within the Assets Directorate and manages a team of more than 20 as well as external Consultants and Contractors.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full professional membership such as RICS /CIOB/RIBA/IWFM/CIBSE or similar.
• At least seven years’ experience in a management position of a property maintenance /refurbishment, contract management, professional services or facilities management service.

Desirable Skills

• Degree or equivalent in a surveying, building services or property management related discipline.
• Social Housing experience and meeting the requirements of Tenants.
