Production Trainee - Embroidery & Print
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: BRANDED CLOTHING SOURCE Join our team to help deliver high-quality branded clothing through embroidery and print. This role involves hands-on operation of machinery, attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting client expectations across a variety of sectors. This role is ideal for someone who is well organised and eager to learn. You will be part of a team supporting day-to-day operations across production, stock handling and customer services along with goods in and out. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate embroidery and heat press machines to produce garments according to job specifications.
- Prepare artwork files and ensure correct placement, sizing, and thread or ink colours.
- Load and unload garments, ensuring accuracy in product selection and order quantities.
- Conduct quality checks throughout production to maintain high standards.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of jobs, including hooping, trimming, and folding.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following health and safety guidelines.
- Support stock management and help track goods inwards and outwards.
- Take part in training and contribute to continuous improvement of production processes.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- GCSE Maths and English - Grade C or above.
- Good timekeeping and attendance record.
- Good teamworking skills.
- Attention to detail.
