Job description

Loading and securing of all goods at the depot. Ensuring all documentation is correct prior to departing from depot. Delivering the goods in first class condition to the agreed location. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Loading and securing of all goods at the depot.
• Ensuring all documentation is correct prior to departing from depot.
• Delivering the goods in first class condition to the agreed location.
• Ensuring the appropriate delivery documentation is signed.
• Collecting and documenting all product returns.
• Maintenance of the lorry (including vehicle hygiene plus daily water/oil/fuel checks),
• Cage control and accountability.
• The role involves a significant amount of manual handling, specifically pushing, pulling and lifting heavy loads.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Hold a current LGV Group C licence.
• Possess a valid, in date Driver Qualification Card (CPC up to date).
• Possess a Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have a good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network.
• Able to deliver outstanding Customer Service.

Desirable Skills

• Relevant driving experience.
• Multi-drop delivery experience.
• A good knowledge of vehicle refrigeration.
• A good knowledge of tail lift operation.
