Administrative Assistant
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: DPMNI LTD As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the management and site teams. You’ll handle general office administration, coordinate job schedules, process invoices, and communicate with clients, suppliers, and staff to ensure all projects run efficiently and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong organisational skills, and takes pride in being the person who keeps things moving behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative and clerical support to management and field teams.
- Manage calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.
- Schedule jobs, allocate staff, and maintain accurate site documentation.
- Prepare and issue quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Track materials, subcontractor details, and completed works.
- Support bookkeeping and expense tracking.
- Maintain organised filing systems and office supplies.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication.
- Prepare reports, letters, and documentation as required.
- Handle confidential information with care and professionalism.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (construction or property maintenance background desirable).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with invoicing or basic bookkeeping (advantageous).
Desirable Skills
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C / Level 4 or above.
- Full UK driving licence (if occasional site or supplier visits are required).

The Employer is: DPMNI LTD JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability. This should be discussed directly with the employer before starting employment.
