Job description

This will be to get a man with very complex needs ready for bed. This will involve full personal care including washing, changing, catheter care, feeding and drinking and transfer from wheelchair to be using a hoist.

Responsibilities

• This will be to get a man with very complex needs ready for bed safely.
• All aspects of personable care required along with feeding and drinking.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous care experience essential. Catheter care and hoist management essential also.
• Previous experience of working with people with complex needs.
• Flexible.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of using slide sheets and hoists

Further Information

One hour at night working along another PA possibly 10.00pm-11.00pm. 5.6 weeks paid holiday.
