Job description

Little Stars Daycare, a small, home-from-home setting in Dunmurry, Belfast, is seeking a Nursery Assistant to join their team. The day care caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years and also has an afterschools unit for children in P1 to P7. Support daily care and play-based activities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily care and play-based activities. Supervise and engage children at all times.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing environment. Work closely with staff and communicate with parents.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Passion for working with young children. Patient, kind, and professional approach.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Childcare experience. Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (or willing to train on site).
• Paediatric First Aid & Safeguarding training. Full UK driving licence.
