Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with business clients and support managers in the application of HR policies and procedures, employment law and HR best practice.
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, employee relations and development, talent reviews, absence management and employee engagement.
  • Be a role model and guide for employees. Champion, promote and demonstrate our culture of Integrity, Inclusion, and Innovation,
  • Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
  • Responsible for ensuring the successful completion of inclusive, global HR Programs, in close collaboration with our HR Centres of Excellence,
  • Lead and participate in local or global project teams on HR projects and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • At least two years’ experience working in a HR Business Partner role or a Senior HR Generalist role.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • Experience in handling complex employee relations issues.
  • Experience working in a Unionised environment.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of employment law in Northern Ireland and the practical application in a business environment.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of employee engagement strategies and initiatives.
