THE EMPLOYER IS: CARLEN CONSTRUCTION Carlen Construction is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with general site duties, support tradespeople, and ensure work areas are kept safe, clean, and efficient. This role is ideal for someone who is punctual, works well in a team, and takes pride in maintaining high standards on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the construction site.
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision.
• Always follow health and safety procedures.
• Support site setup and clean-up before and after shifts.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good timekeeping and attendance record.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

The Employer is: CARLEN CONSTRUCTION JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
