Digital Marketing Assistant
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: NEXT STEP TRANSITIONS CIC Next Step Transitions is a small community interest company (not-for-profit) who require the support of a Digital Marketing Assistant who will work directly with the team to create content to promote the business through social media, research and interpret data from campaigns and social media as well as some website development. They will also help with general administrative duties when required.
Responsibilities
- Create content for social media, website and press releases when required.
- Interpreting basic data from campaigns, social media and the company’s website.
- Website development.
- Working toward search engine optimisation for company website.
- Ensure confidentiality of information relating to our participants and their families is maintained at all times.
- Provide administration and facilitation support for events, programmes and activities.
- Carry out general administration duties as required e.g. photocopying, filing, post.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 5 GCSEs or equivalents at C or above (including English and Maths).
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Experience of using Social Media.
- Open to learning web development.
- Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Creativity.
- Ability to work on their own and also as part of a team.
- Experience of working with the public.
Desirable Skills
- 2 A-Levels or equivalents at C or above.
- Experience of web development.
- Experience of working with young people.
- Experience of working with autistic people.
- Experience of applying for funding.
