Job description

We're looking for a Financial Services Administrator to join our collaborative and friendly team. The candidate must have a proven experience supporting financial advisers in an IFA environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy IFA environment, values precision, and enjoys supporting clients and advisers.

Responsibilities

  • Support financial advisers, paraplanners, and the wider team to deliver excellent client outcomes
  • Communicate with clients to request information and provide timely updates
  • Accurately process new business and client servicing transactions using provider systems
  • Prepare annual review packs and manage ongoing service requests
  • Maintain accurate client records using Intelligent Office and provider platforms
  • Liaise with providers to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
  • Contribute to team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal quality standards

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience supporting financial advisers in an IFA environment (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of financial products (pensions, GIAs, ISAs, bonds, protection etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • High level of accuracy in literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and provider platforms
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with Intelligent Office (desirable)
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients
