Job description

This Post Holder will assist with the continuing development of a Nurse Led Epilepsy Service for all adults in the SHSCT. The Post Holder will be required to provide epilepsy care, advice and support to individuals, carer’s and professionals and/or assist the individual and their carer’s where appropriate to manage their epilepsy care. The post holder will be working with service users across the ASC and MHD Directorates.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of two years post registration experience at band 5 or above.
• Previous experience of working with individuals with epilepsy

Desirable Skills

• Previous completion of the Diploma in Epilepsy Care and Non-medical prescribing course or a willingness to undertake training.
