Game Artist
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: KIPPIE Kippie is seeking a talented Game Artist to lead the artistic development of new intellectual property, creating a vertical slice or demo of a game. Training will be provided, with opportunities to develop both 2D and 3D game art in a collaborative, creative setting.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and creation of visual assets for a game vertical slice or demo.
- Work collaboratively with programmers and other team members to integrate art assets into the game.
- Support day-to-day operations at Kippie, including maintaining equipment, updating software, and welcoming visitors.
- Maintain a clean Access NI check.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Passion for gaming and strong knowledge of games.
- Interest in game development and creating both 2D and 3D art.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
- Gaming or art-related qualification or experience.
- Experience creating art for games and working with a game engine.
