Job description

We are recruiting home care assistants for a home care package in the Waterside. Day rotas available and an overnight rota from 10.00 - 07:00. Full training for this role will be provided by NWCare in their in-house training academy, but the successful applicant will need to have at least six months previous paid caring experience. Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of six months paid caring experience.
• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
• Be well organised/professional/caring.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.

Desirable Skills

• QCF level 3 in H & SC.
• Previous paid caring experience.
