Job description

The function of the post is to co-ordinate, prioritise and distribute all information from patients/ other agencies to Clinicians on duty. As well as providing supervision to ensure the efficient running of the operation in line with management guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Handling all inbound calls from patients to the call centre using the agreed protocols.
  • Logging, verifying or amending details on the internal computer system.
  • Comply with health and safety policies and statutory regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Five GCSE qualifications Grades A- C or equivalent plus two years relevant supervisory experience in a call centre environment
  • Or three GCSE qualifications Grades A - C or equivalent plus three years relevant supervisory experience.

Further Information

This post involves working overnight shifts only. Computer keyboard skills will be assessed by an aptitude test as part of the interview process.
