Job description

We are recruiting home care assistants for a home care package in Cityside. Rotas are 07:00 - 15:00; 15:00 - 23:00 and overnight 23:00 - 07:00. Full training for this role will be provided by NWCare in their in-house training academy, but the successful applicant will need to have at least six months previous paid caring experience. Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced AccessNI certificate

Responsibilities

• Person centred care in the home of a Service User with tracheostomy
• Full bespoke training will be provided by NWCare

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• A minimum of six months paid caring experience
• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 in health and social care or above or equivalent
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Care about the community they live in
