Job description

On behalf of our Client, we are seeking Mail Sorters for over the busy Christmas period. You’ll be part of a big team of helpers! With lots of different shifts and times available so you can find the right shift for you! Be part of it this Christmas!

Responsibilities

• Sorting incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and parcels with precision.
• Unloading mail and parcels from delivery vans efficiently.
• Moving items around our warehouse environment to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency at all times.
• Working collaboratively to meet tight deadlines in a bustling atmosphere.
• Handling trolleys and lifting heavy bags to keep our postal services running smoothly.
• Keeping your workspace tidy and organized to enhance productivity.
• Undertaking any other duties as needed to support our operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved.
• Ability to push trolleys (up to 250kgs) and lift and move mail bags (up to 11kg).

Desirable Skills

• Previous warehouse experience desirable.

Further Information

Pay Rates: Early shift: £15.50 per hour. Late Shift: £16.92 per hour. Night Shift:£18.18 per hour. Must be over 18 for night shifts. Working hours: Early shift (between 7am - 3pm) / Late Shift (between 3pm - 10pm) / Night Shift (between 11pm - 7am) Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime. We also now have Saturday and Sunday shifts only Saturday 9am - 9pm and Sunday 8am - 6pm If you’re interested in being a part of it this Christmas then apply today!
