Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: GLEBE FARM LIMAVADY Support the day-to-day running of the farm shop and coffee bar. Provide a friendly and welcoming service to all customers, manage stock levels, and maintain general presentation. Ensure all customers enjoy a high-quality experience, from purchasing local produce to enjoying freshly prepared drinks. Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate the till, handle cash and process card payments.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene throughout the shop.
• Prepare and serve a range of hot/cold drinks.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen and safety guidelines.
• Receive and check deliveries, reporting any discrepancies.
• Replenish shelves, ensuring stock rotation and freshness.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Ability to adhere to food hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Desirable Skills

• Previous retail/café experience.
• Interest in local produce, sustainable food or coffee.
