Job description

The successful candidate will work across all divisions to ensure that operational needs are met, ensure loads are delivered on time and provide an efficient service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the rules of the road i.e. speed, tachograph use, signs etc.
• Deliver goods safely and within specification to agreed location as instructed and ensure that all appropriate documentation is signed and returned to the Company.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and tidy and in roadworthy condition at all times.
• You are also required to complete a daily maintenance check on the vehicle.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is essential.
• Applicants must possess a Clean Class C, E HGV driving licence and have successfully completed them required CPC training.
• Previous driving experience, a flexible approach as well as effective verbal and written communication skills are all essential for this role.

Further Information

Hours of work: Monday to Saturday must be available for early morning, evening and weekend work. Occasional night out work may be required.
