Yard Operative - Garvagh - Permanent An excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join a well-established company in Garvagh on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly by managing stock movement, supporting production and logistics, and maintaining a safe and organised yard environment. Responsibilities

• Unload/load vehicles, deliveries, and finished products in the yard.
• Move materials and stock around the yard and feed production/manufacturing areas as required.
• General housekeeping of the yard: keeping it clean, tidy, safe, and free of hazards (e.g., waste disposal, sweeping, organising).
• Assist with stock-control tasks: organising stock locations, helping with stock takes, labelling.
• Operate yard equipment (forklift, pallet truck, etc.) if trained and licensed.
• Assist in preparing items for dispatch, packaging, securing, vehicle loading.
• Maintain the condition of yard equipment and report any defects or issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks (lifting, moving materials).
• Good level of organisational skills and ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions reliably.
• Awareness of health & safety principles in a yard/manufacturing environment.

Desirable Skills

• A full driving licence may be desirable.
