Clerical Officer


Job description

As Clerical Officer, you will work within a fast-paced office environment and your key responsibilities will include: undertaking reception duties, which will include dealing with telephone enquiries efficiently and with courtesy.

Responsibilities

  • Operation of computerised information system.
  • Distribution of incoming mail/post to relevant staff.
  • Prioritise and organise work effectively.
  • Provide clerical support to Social Work Teams as and when required.
  • Compliance with all relevant legislation and policies relating to data protection and confidentiality of information.
  • General administration duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • You will be proficient in Microsoft suite, have experience of managing confidential information, good organisational and time-management skills, the ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative, and good interpersonal skills.
