Service Administrator


Job description

We are looking for an experienced Service Administrator who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people. Are you someone who is skilled in office management? Do you have an interest in working within a busy residential service? As the Service Administrator for Leaving Care Service - Belfast and Ballymena you will play a valuable role in supporting a large team of residential colleagues, by ensuring smooth administrative systems and processes are in place. To help deliver our vision, we need an experienced and motivated professional to work alongside the management team, and wider team of residential project workers.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative support to manager and team
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Monitor income and expenditure
  • Process purchase orders and invoices

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Proven MS Office Experience to include use of IT packages including MS Word and Excel.
  • Experience of assisting with budget preparation and monitoring income and expenditure.
  • Experience of financial reporting and audit.
  • Experience of managing systems to collect and monitor data.
  • Experience of supporting/supervising colleagues.
  • Experience of premises/facilities management

Further Information

Location: Office base at Barnardo's NI Regional Office, Upper Newtownards Road, Belfast £26,751 - £29,214.43 FTE Post: Part-time administrator (22 hours), Fixed Term to 31 January 2027. Hours of work are flexible and will be agreed upon appointment. The Role is office based with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
