THE EMPLOYER IS: THE OVEN AND APPLIANCE CLEANING COMPANY We are a family run company with nearly 20 years’ experience in the services industry. The main service we deliver is oven and appliance valets and we operate across Northern Ireland and throughout the Republic of Ireland. We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised Office Administrator to help deliver day to day operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office. You will be joining a welcoming and supportive team that offers remote working and flexible working patterns. The ideal candidate will work remotely with regular in-person/virtual team meetings. The role involves administrative duties, including emails, telephone calls, maintaining and updating internal systems and corresponding with clients through various channels. The successful candidate will manage our Social Media presence to increase brand awareness and engagement (Facebook and Instagram). Ongoing training will be provided to support the successful candidate as they progress and settle into the role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of administrative service e.g. incoming/ outgoing emails, diary bookings and route planning.
  • Accurately operate, maintain and update internal systems e.g. databases/ field software, and use IT systems and packages in accordance with office policies and procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact between contractors, clients, staff and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring Social Media platforms are accurate and up-to-date including message response, content creation, multimedia production, content calendar, analytics, trends and research, engagement and monitoring (training can be provided).
  • Support various projects by conducting research, collecting data, assisting with reporting and drafting communications/ documents. Participate in team discussions, offering creative ideas and insights.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • GCSE C or equivalent in English & Maths.
  • Proficiency in IT skills (keyboard skills, Microsoft Word & Excel, emailing etc.).
  • Good organisational skills/time management.
  • Good grasp of Social Media.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently along with good communication and interpersonal skills working with the public and within the team.
  • Keen to learn and develop skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working in a busy office environment.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Knowledge of CRM/ SMS marketing.
  • Experience of managing social media/ familiarity with social media management tools e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.
