Hub Project Support Worker
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: FORWARD SOUTH PARTNERSHIP The Hub Project Support Worker will play a key role in supporting the operation on the Forward South Partnership Hub by creating a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment for all users of the hub. The worker will provide essential support to the Roma Support Hub and other projects / initiatives by assisting with day to day running of activities by providing practical support and helping to connect users into services and opportunities in the community.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming users to hub with a friendly, inclusive and respectful manner.
- Help to coordinate community activities, workshops and events in the hub setting.
- Manage the Warm Space Initiative by setting up activities, coffee dock.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, referrals and feedback.
- Assist with data entry to Advice Pro by using confidentiality & data protection policies at all times.
- Support users by signposting to local wellbeing initiatives, training, employment and benefit services.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel).
- Ability to work within a small team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working in community and voluntary / customer facing setting.
- Knowledge of local services and referral pathways.
