Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: LOQUERION SECURITY LTD Loquerion Security was founded in 2023, to build Cyber Security Products empowering everyday people and businesses to protect their Personal Data against abuse by taking back control. Current activities include building prototype technologies, engaging in building marketing / business partnerships, delivering proof of concept product demonstrators, and conducting user acceptance beta tests. The role is intended for candidates who have existing IT skills; with a passion and potential to expand them; but may have stumbled with traditional education or workplace pathways. While not essential, we are particularly interested in candidates with more advanced IT & computer skills, who have perhaps been unable to find work in these harder to access areas, possibly due to lack of formal qualification, certification, or experience. Reporting to the CEO / Founder, this role will be in support of the company's work on a Product Prototype for a Security Application, protecting Personal Data. Core work activities will be computer based data collection, entry, classification, & analysis; with opportunity for additional more advanced duties for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection - Gathering data from online surveys, web site, databases, repositories etc
  • Data Entry - Formatting and entering the data.
  • Data Classification - Reading & reviewing the data, correcting errors / omissions, and classifying it.
  • Data Analysis - Using data tools to create graphs, tables, charts, etc., and answer questions about it.
  • Project Support - Other reasonable activities related to the successful delivery of the project.
  • Additionally, for successful candidates who show interest and potential in other areas:
  • Market Research - Opportunity to learn, support, and contribute to market research & validation activities of the prototype.
  • Software Development - Opportunity to learn, support, and contribute to software development activities of the prototype.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • GCSE Math & English.
  • Comfortable with using a Desktop or Laptop Computer with Windows for daily work.
  • Solid IT Skills - Expert User, with some awareness or exposure to IT Admin, "Built own PC" etc.
  • Trustworthiness - With all roles in a Security company, candidates must be trustworthy.

Desirable Skills

  • Active interest in STEM, e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security, AI, Data, Math, etc.
  • Focus, precision, and attention to detail with regard to data, written, documentation, etc.
  • Passion and the potential to advance knowledge, skills, & experience in IT.
