Seaview House Private Nursing Home is an independent nursing home located overlooking Ballyholme Bay in County Down. We are currently looking for a Chef to join our small friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Able to prepare meals according to residents medical preferences such as diabetic diets, gluten free diets, soft option meals.
• Cleaning and the health and safety of the kitchen.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as cook/chef at least one year in similar environment.
• Diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
