Clinic Co-Ordinator
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: AUDIOCARE HEARING BANGOR As a Clinic Co-Ordinator at Audiocare Hearing Bangor, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our hearing clinic, ensuring patients receive professional, friendly, and efficient service. You will manage appointments, handle administrative duties, and support the audiology team in delivering excellent patient care. Occasional additional hours may be required for training or cover. Full training will be provided and there may be an opportunity for continued employment upon completion of the scheme.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and managing front-of-house duties.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments using clinic software.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and correspondence.
- Processing payments and handling general office administration.
- Coordinating communication between patients, audiologists, and external providers.
- Ensuring the clinic environment is clean, organised, and welcoming.
- Assisting with stock management, equipment preparation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Supporting the wider Audiocare team as needed.
- Promoting Google Reviews.
- Help out with our Marketing team in creating content to grow the clinic.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Need to be able to operate computer.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Able to demonstrate a professional, polite, and patient-focused manner.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer-facing reception role.
- Knowledge of audiology or optical services.
- Experience using booking or clinical management software.
- First aid or customer service training.
