THE EMPLOYER IS: DESSERTCO LTD Dessertco Ltd is a premium dessert bakery and café known for our creative monthly menus, brownies, cookies, and milkshakes. We’re looking for a motivated and friendly individual to join our team through the JobStart Scheme. This role combines front-of-house customer service with social media and marketing support. You’ll gain hands-on experience in hospitality while learning how a modern food brand creates and promotes content online. Full training will be provided - no prior experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional way.
• Prepare milkshakes, ice creams, and coffees to a high standard.
• Operate the till (POS) system to take orders and handle payments.
• Keep the counter and seating area clean, tidy, and well-presented.
• Help with product displays and new menu launches.
• Assist in creating photos and videos for social media posts.
• Support with writing captions and sharing content online.
• Work as part of a small team to maintain high standards of service.

Essential Skills

• Friendly, reliable, and confident talking to people.
• Interested in desserts, social media, or marketing.
• Keen to learn new skills and gain real work experience.

The Employer is: DESSERTCO LTD JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
