Case Officer (Grants)


Job description

To process, and where appropriate approve, grant applications for all Affordable Warmth, Boiler Replacement and Private Sector Grants schemes, in a timely and effective manner through engagement with relevant stakeholders. The post holder will be responsible for the processing of applications from first contact to payment of grant including authorisation of grant approvals and payments.

  • To manage individual grant applications from initial contact to payment of the grant, maintaining detailed and accurate records to evidence the decision making process.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Possess a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or equivalent Level 2 qualifications.
