We’re Hiring! Join Our Team as a Tribunal Representative in Ballymote Centre Downpatrick. Community Advice Newry, Mourne and Down is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Tribunal Representative to join our team. If you’re passionate about helping people, confident in advocating on behalf of others, and eager to make a real difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you! Full training provided. Join us in delivering free, confidential, and independent advice to our local community.
Responsibilities
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to fairness
- Ability to understand complex information
- Experience in advice, legal, or support roles (desirable but not essential)
- Support clients through appeals and tribunal processes
- Prepare casework and represent clients at hearings
- Work closely with our advice team to ensure the best outcomes for those who need us
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to fairness
- Ability to understand complex information
- Third Level qualification (preferably law or Degree with law modules) OR
- Candidates must have completed the Advice NI or Law Centre Training Programme and have experience of providing benefit advice and benefit calculations.
- Trainee may be considered
Desirable Skills
- Experience in advice, legal, or support roles (desirable but not essential)
