Maternity Cook Cover -To actively participate in the daily operation of the catering under the direction of the Childcare Manager. -Team participation is essential to provide an efficient hygienic service, to achieve customer satisfaction. -Development of a healthy menu and purchase order for use within the childcare facility in line with Healthy Eating Policy-Stock control and re-stocking of products and ingredients -The basic preparation of food and beverages including the preparation of vegetables and snacks using appropriate equipment. -Simple cooking using healthy, wholesome ingredients. -The transferring and serving of meals and snacks. -General kitchen and dining room duties including washing up, clearing away equipment. The cleaning of the kitchen area and equipment including floors and walls, bins etc -Recording of temperatures as required daily -Completing paperwork associated with kitchen duties e.g. Environmental Health Folder -Gathering of weekly/daily numbers required for dinner

Responsibilities
