Associate Occupational Therapist


Job description

Kiera Groves EP services, 9a Church Square, Banbridge. An opportunity has arisen for a BAND 6 or 7 Occupational Therapist to join an independent assessment and Intervention service at Kiera Groves EP Services: This role is a flexible associate role. The role will involve providing specialist assessment and intervention for children and young people with a range of developmental, learning and sensory needs.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out comprehensive OT Assessments for children with a variety of needs (e.g sensory processing, fine/gross motor skills, coordination challenges).
  • Develop and implement individual therapy plans and interventions, and work collaboratively.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people in a clinical, educational or community setting.
  • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and teamwork skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of family-centred and goal-oriented practice.
  • Enhanced vetting (or willingness to obtain this).
